201/214 Max Braden Bateman is funny in moments, but Braff just rehashes his Scrubs schtick. Anger Management, School for Scoundrels, and You Me and Dupree are all better.

Once again, we have Zach Braff back in the lead of a romantic comedy. While Garden State was a sleeper hit, The Last Kiss was not quite so well received, but the Scrubs star definitely still has a solid following.

In Fast Track, Braff will play Tom Reilly, an underachiever with no real career to speak of. That's really okay, though, because his loving wife Sofia (Amanda Peet) is a tough lawyer who has always been more than happy to bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan. Everything changes when the couple has their first child and Sofia decides that she will be a stay-at-home mom and that Tom must take on the role of breadwinner. Unfortunately, he is fired from his job in New York City, with the only real alternative being to work with his father-in-law (the very long-absent Charles Grodin) in Sofia's Ohio hometown.

It's not long before things start going wrong at work. Tom clashes with co-worker Chip (the always-terrific Jason Bateman), who still carries a bit of a torch for Sofia from their days together in high school. On the flip side, Sofia is becoming ill-at-ease staying at home. Tom and Sofia need to get back to the routine that works well for them, but how easy will it be? (Kim Hollis/BOP)
