Bateman is on a Fast Track
Jason Bateman has joined the cast of The WeinsteinCo's Fast Track. He'll star alongside Zach Braff and Amanda Peet and is being directed by Jesse Peretz. The story centers on Braff's character, a young father who takes a job at his father-in-law's marketing agency. Bateman will play an obnoxious coworker who uses a wheelchair.

Braff and Peet on Fast Track
Zach Braff and Amanda Peet are in talks to star in Fast Track, a movie that will be distributed by Harvey and Bob Weinstein's new company, The WeinsteinCo. Jesse Peretz will direct the film from a screenplay by David Guion and Michael Handelman. The movie is about an underachiever who has to take a job he doesn't want working for his father-in-law after his wife becomes pregnant and quits her own high-paying job.
