Jennifer Aniston gets to drop her TV Friends persona and go from New York chic to Texas trailer trash. Director Miguel Arteta teams up again with writer Mike White for the first time since 2000's Chuck & Buck.

Aniston plays Justine, a clerk at a Texas discount store whose life has hit a dead end. She wants to have a baby with her husband Phil, but she's unable to conceive. She thinks his endless pot smoking is to blame. At work, she meets her soul-mate, Holden (Jake Gyllenhaal), who represents a chance to start her life over again. But the relationship quickly turns to dangerous obsession.

This film had its world premiere at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. Arteta is a favorite of the festival, with his two previous films (Chuck & Buck and Star Maps) having their debuts there as well. This film will see a limited release pattern. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
