Man About Town

It has taken a long time, but Ben Affleck is finally climbing out of the Gigli-created muck and looking to make a comeback. Perhaps reinvigorated by an unexpectedly successful foray into poker, Affleck has chosen the film in which he will attempt to redeem his career after the Great Bennifer Disaster of 2002-2003.
The project is Man About Town. The premise involves a successful Hollywood agent and the cracks developing in his seemingly perfect life. His first mistake was in keeping a private journal which has now turned up missing. The thief turns out to be an enterprising journalist who is poised to use his ill-gotten goods to expose the agent.
Meanwhile, things aren't much better at home. His beauteous wife (Femme Fatale vixen Rebecca Romijn-Stamos) has apparently taken a turn for the unfaithful. Cuckolded and in danger of being publicly humiliated professionally, Affleck's character is forced to make a series of unsettling decisions. (David Mumpower/BOP)
