With several early summer films failing to live up to the hype, Hollywood may be looking towards Memorial Day Weekend to start turning things around.

As expected, this final season of Jack Bauer involved many deaths, plot twists, conniving nationalities, a nuclear threat, red herrings and plenty of "dammit." So, it's time to find out how well do you know Jack (Bauer's last day on TV).

One of the more successful TV-to-film projects, Sex and the City: The Movie rewarded the franchise's devoted fans with further adventures of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte. The big event of the weekend is the series finale of one of the most ambitious, frustrating, exciting, maddening, brilliant television shows ever: Lost.

Written, directed, produced and edited by Justin Lin, Better Luck Tomorrow is quite unlike the teen comedies of the time, and plays more like a high school tragi-drama.

The show chronicles a single mother, her kind-hearted dufus of an ex, her slightly put-upon son and her not-too-wacky friends and neighbors. Oh, and social drinking. When DreamWorks sought a property to carve itself a piece of Pixar’s computer-animation domain, likely no one would’ve bet on a tongue-in-cheek fairytale. But the saga of a gentle ogre, a talking donkey and a cursed princess all wanting people to get to know them and not judge solely on their looks became a box-office hit, and the film that made DreamWorks an animation contender. This has been a very busy couple of months for me and the Big Daddy. So much so that we’ve gotten very far behind in our movie watching.

Moments both touching and funny, memorable characters, gorgeous artwork and catchy songs - The Princess and the Frog has all the hallmarks of classic Disney movies. Add in a top-shelf villain and other quirky secondary characters, and you have the best film from the Mouse House in years.
