Writer/director Catherine Jelski bases this film on the play by Wolfganag Bauer. It is another one of those movies about the movie business.

The story is about two young filmmakers named Charlie (Devon Gummersall) and Joe (Eion Bailey). Charlie is a filmmaking genius, at least in his own mind. He young and has an ego as big as the swimming pool at his father's house, where he still lives. Joe comes by Charlie's house and shows off his new girlfriend, Cassandra (Leslie Bibb). Like they do all the time, they act juvenile and trade insults. Basically, this is what they do every day. They hang around all day, get drunk or stoned, trade profanities, and belittle their girlfriends and movie crews. That's about it.

So far, reviews of this film have been overwhelmingly negative. The story has no purpose and the dialogue is unimaginative. I'm not sure if this film will do very well with the movie-going public. They are pretty picky about wasting their time and hard-earned money on films. Let's hope this won't turn out to be one of them. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
