Don't let the neck skin fool you. Sir Anthony Hopkin might be old, but he is not ready to be put out to pasture just yet. The aging thespian plays Burt Monro in The World's Fastest Indian.

For those of you unfamiliar with the name, Burt Monro set the land-speed world record in the 1970s. What was unusual about the feat was the process that led to the accomplishment. A native New Zealander, Monro bought a 1920 Indian motorcycle. He then spent almost half a century restoring and souping up the bike. Finally, he went to Bonneville Salt Flats for the express purpose of setting the record. With the odds against him, he was able to achieve his goal, setting a speed record that stands to this very day.

After The World's Fastest Indian played at the Toronto International Film Festival, Magnolia Pictures obtained North American distribution rights for the film. They're planning a limited Oscar consideration release at the end of the year before rolling it out to additional theaters in 2006. (David Mumpower/BOP)
