Some 40-plus years after legendary playwright Arthur Miller examined a man going through a mid-life crisis, he once again returned to the subject matter that secured his legacy. The play, The Ride Down to Mt. Morgan, was written in 1991 and debuted in London soon thereafter. A few years later in 1996, the production made its way to the American stage and eventually earned a Tony nomination for its Broadway run. Now, the fledgling production company, Atmosphere Pictures, is creating a cinematic adaptation starring Michael Douglas.

Unlike his predecessor Miller creation, Willy Loman, the main character here, Lyman Felt, is a successful businessman. Another difference between the two is that Felt has twice as many wives. That's right, he's been leading a double life.

The main story in Mt. Morgan involves a pair of woman who each receive a phone call that their husband had has a car wreck on the icy slopes of the mountain. When they reach the hospital, the duo discover that they are accidentally joined in matrimonial bigamy. What follows is a heartfelt tale of sorrow and betrayal mixed with a surprising dose of comedy.
