I swear it doesn't bother me that you look like Anne Heche.

Another French relationship film, The Town is Quiet follows the lives of six people as they try to deal with the tragedies and problems of existing in this world. As the various lives intersect and intertwine, the six protagonists much face the unvarnished truth about their circumstances, and the resulting epiphanies lead to a somber, tragic conclusion. In other words, your typical dramatic foreign film.

The Town is Quiet is slated for a limited release in October. This type of film tends not to do outstanding box office, even in art-house terms; however, if there is good word-of-mouth, the film could see a long life on that circuit. (Stephanie Star Smith/BOP)
