Position Staff In Brief
11/47 Amanda Jones Amanda Bynes cements herself firmly as the most likeable of the new Hollywood starlet-ettes.
22/76 Dan Krovich Generally cute and funny... plus I have a thing for Amanda Bynes.
40/65 Kim Hollis The least of the teen movies, but I still enjoyed it.
87/159 David Mumpower Well intended teen comedy is a bit too silly for my tastes but I suspect most girls would love it.

A contemporary take on William Shakespeare's comedy Twelfth Night, She's the Man will join such teen flicks as 10 Things I Hate About You, "O" and Get Over It as an adaptation of the Bard's work for a youthful audience.

The story centers on a teenage girl named Viola (Amanda Bynes) who learns that her school has cut her soccer team as an available sport. She disguises herself as her twin brother, taking his place at his new boarding school. Naturally, all sorts of romantic complications arise, as she falls for her new roommate, but is of course also the object of affection for a beautiful girl. Making matters even worse, when her actual twin, Sebastian, arrives, everything goes to turmoil.

Bynes has been absent from the big screen for awhile, though she will have a couple of projects arrive in theaters in a fairly short period of time (Lovewrecked is the other). She's proven to be quite charming in The Amanda Show, What I Like About You, and even her film What a Girl Wants, and it will be interesting to see if she can avoid the declining box office trajectory of fellow teen star Hilary Duff. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
