This horror film centers on a successful young saleswoman who is both estranged from her father and being stalked by her ex-boyfriend. As if these difficulties aren't enough for her to focus on, she also begins to have vivid nightmares about a horrific murder of a young woman she has never even met. Ultimately, these dreams lead her to investigate, and she goes to the hometown of the murder victim. There, she uncovers the truth. The murder happened 25 years in the past, and might also just lead up to her own death in the future.
The lead actress in the film will be Sarah Michelle Gellar, who definitely has some credibility in the horror genre thanks to her cultish fan-base on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and her big opening of The Grudge. Along with Gellar, the always gruff and talented Sam Shepard is onboard to portray her father. Given the right infusion of creepy and mysterious, this film could really appeal to the same crowd who has so far shown Gellar so much support. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
