When we last left our racers, they were in Chile – Rob and Amber were in first, Charla and Mirna were crazy and Drew and Kevin were eliminated. Twelve hours later, the teams are off to the airport to fly to Puerto Montt, Chile. Rob and Amber find a travel agent and book a flight that gets them in at 12:55 p.m. The next four teams at the airport – Uchenna and Joyce; Bill and Joe; Danielle and Eric; and Danny and Oswald decide to work together. Three of the teams stake out the ticket counter and Uchenna and Joyce go off - with the other three teams' credit card information - to try and book a flight at a hotel. They succeed in finding an Internet connection allowing them to book the same flight as Romber for themselves and Team Guido. However, they did not get the security code on the credit card for Eric and Danielle and Danny and Oswald, so they couldn't book for them.

When the airport opens, all the remaining teams are initially put on a flight that gets in at 1:55 p.m. However, Danielle and Eric know there is an early flight and manage to get on the flight with the lead teams. Others try, but it is now sold out. All the teams leave on the same first flight to catch the two connecting flights. When the first flight lands, Teri and Ian go off to try and get on the standby list for the flight Romber, Uchenna and Joyce, the Guidos and Danielle and Eric are on. They start trying to negotiate when Charla and Mirna come up and try to do the same thing – with their ticket agent. Rule number one – don't mess with Teri. She smacks down Charla and Mirna, resulting in Charla stating that it is a race and there was no reason for Teri to be rude. BWHAHAHA...pot meet kettle. In the end, no one can get on the earlier flight and the teams are off to Puerto Montt.

At the airport, the teams get in marked cars to drive to a fish farm. As they are driving, Rob and Amber get lost and Bill and Joe notice they are not in the pack in front of them. Joe is concerned that if Romber is not with them, maybe everyone else is lost. This leads Bill to remark that "Rob is not Jesus." I don't know – Jesus wandered around a desert for 40 days...it is possible that maybe He wasn't great with directions either.

At the fish farm, the teams are met with a roadblock that requires the selected team member to grab 80 fish out of a tank and carry them in a tray to a holding tank on the other side of the farm. Danielle takes the task for her team and immediately freaks out – she hates fish and does not want to touch them. Initially, Eric just yells at her, calling her a baby and demanding she do it. Once she gets over her fear and starts hauling the fish, he stands around demanding she use her breasts (well, he says boobs) to help her keep the fish in line. He yells this more than a few times, leading Rob to comment on his attitude towards Danielle.

This task actually is difficult for a number of teams. Dave and Mirna are both also afraid of fish. Oswald just has a hard time doing the task. Joe, on the other hand, declares himself the "fish whisperer" and does the task with relative ease. In the end, each of the teams finish and get their clue by looking at the bottom of the tank. The clue directs the teams to drive to La Maquina, which they will come to just before the town of Petrohue. Significantly, Joe does not write down (and later claims he didn't see) the part of the clue relating to Petrohue.

Once the teams get to La Maquina, they are met with a detour – either climb a 40 foot rock or white water raft two and 1/2 miles. However, many of the teams got lost – most significantly Team Guido, as they didn't know to look for Petrohue. They end up running into Charla and Mirna in the town outside the fish farm (as Mirna was much farther behind Team Guido in the fish task) and agree to split the cost of a guide. Unfortunately for the guide, he doesn't seem to be going with Mirna and Charla willingly. As he nervously gets in the car, Mirna states "Welcome to Charla and Mirna's World – it's a scary one." Truer words have not been spoken.

Anyway, Romber, Danielle and Eric and Uchenna and Joyce get the detour clue and go off to find the rafting area (Romber successfully, the other teams, not so much). Meanwhile, the Beauty Queens stumble upon the rafting tasks and figure they need to go down the river to find their clue. Of course, they are set straight by Phil when they try to check in and are sent back to pick up the clue.

The teams are instructed to head to the pit stop, Petrohue Playa, a beach made out of volcanic ash, where they are met by Phil with the local greeter – a little person! (Either Danny or Oswald says what all of us were thinking when commenting that "Charla's going to be in love,") Rob and Amber come in first and win a home gym set. Uchenna and Joyce are Team #2 and Danielle and Eric are Team #3. During the rafting task, Teri falls in and awesomely claims that falling in was exciting. Go Teri GO!!

Dustin and Kandice attempt to check in as Team #4 and are sent back to get their clue, but still end up as Team #4. Danny and Oswald are Team #5, Teri and Ian, Team #6. And now it's a battle between the teams that made the most mental errors. Joe and Bill, despite Joe's misreading the clue to La Maquina, are Team #7. Charla and Mirna, despite getting lost on the way to the pit stop, are Team #8, leading to David and Mary's elimination. To recap, the teams are in Chile, Rob and Amber are in the lead, Charla and Mirna are crazy and David and Mary are eliminated. Sigh – well, at least next week we seem to be blessed with a Crazy Cousins/Romber showdown.
