Some fun things are out this week as the buildup for the Watchmen movie begins with the release of the "Watching the Watchmen" book. Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns looks to be the book of the week here at the shop as that is a stepping stone to the Blackest Night storyline coming next summer from Geoff Johns at DC, and with Johns handling it won't be the complete mess that Final Crisis is (barring the Revelations, Rogues and Legion Final Crisis books).
Kim's Picks
I'm not super excited about much of anything this week, with the exception of Spike: After the Fall. That means I'm short on things to recommend, but I do have something to offer. For hardcore Alan Moore fans (and I mean people who are truly dedicated), League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier is being released in trade paperback format. It's a continuation of the League series - of sorts. I will note that it's almost a requirement to have Wikipedia open the entire time you're reading the book, as it is dense with obscure references. That doesn't mean it's not fun, though.
