This is an absolutely huge week for books. The properly edited All Star Batman and Robin #10 comes out this week. Cable Vol. 1 is in hardcover and the fantastic Captain America series also drops this week. And as a special note for Kim (who's a HUGE Bruce Campbell fan) the "My Name Is Bruce" movie tie-in one shot is in stores! I bet she ordered 25 copies!

All Star Batman and Robin #10
Pete mentions this one above, and I'll agree that it's definitely a pick of the week. Don't get me wrong. This isn't a good series. However, it is funny (whether intentionally or not) and I always enjoy reading it imagining that Frank Miller is chortling as he has one over on everyone. I hope that's what he's doing, anyway.

Fables #76
One of the best series out there right now, Fables #76 is kind of a big deal, because a major, major story arc ended in #75 and it will be totally exciting to see what direction Bill Willingham and friends take our friends in Fabletown. If you haven't been reading this, go ahead and pick up the trade paperbacks. Now.

Locke & Key Hardcover
If you can't buy anything else this week, get this book, which collects the initial Joe Hill series. I'm not kidding when I say it's the best thing in comics (followed closely by currently running series Air).
