There are some damn fine books out of Marvel this week and we're racing toward the Secret Invasion and Final Crisis from DC. Which one are you going to read? Maybe both? Patton Oswald at his MySpace page has read the first three issues of Secret Invasion and while he doesn't spoil it, he does say how good it is. He also talks about just how ground-shaking it is to the structure of the Marvel Universe and that Bendis has this well thought out. I can't wait, really.

Things are a little quiet now as Marvel and DC start in on the convention circuit and prepare the way for their event series of the summer. With the economy bouncing around and it being an election year it's going to be interesting to see how well received they are this year.
