Usually when it comes to video games, it is Mario's world and the rest of us are just living in it. This year though, it would be more accurate to say that it is Mario's Galaxy and the rest of us are just tiny, tiny star fragments orbiting a distant planet in it. Super Mario Galaxy is the readers' choice for Best Video Game by a 12% margin over Halo 3, which bested Guitar Hero 3 by 27% for the consolation spot. Bioshock, Rock Band, and Call of Duty 4 were all on the same tier essentially as GH3, but then there is a big drop-off to the rest, with a 66% difference in votes between COD4 and The Simpsons Game.
