First Look at Paris
First Look Pictures has bought the North American distribution rights to Paris, je t'aime, a collection of romantic short films about Paris. A wide variety of stars and directors participated, including Natalie Portman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Elijah Wood, Nick Nolte, Juliette Binoche, Gus Van Sant, Wes Craven, Alexander Payne and the Coen brothers. Various themes of joy, separation, unexpected encounters and love are explored and imagined in a number of ways by the international collection of filmmakers. The U.S. release is slated for early in 2007.
