Zwick goes to The Lions
Ed Zwick (The Last Samurai) is set to direct the period piece The Lions of Al-Rassan, an adaptation of a novel by Guy Gavriel Kay. Warner Bros. will distribute, and Vera Blasi (Woman on Top) will handle the adaptation. The story is a historical fantasy set in the early days of the Crusades as the Christians attempted to re-take Moorish Spain.
