Tigerland author inserts coin in slot, gets Extra Life.
Tigerland scribe Michael McGruther has acquired the movie rights to David Bennahum's videogame memoir, Extra Life: Coming of Age in Cyberspace. Set in 1980, the adventure/drama studies the lives of children growing up during the Pong and Atari driven pioneering age of videogames. McGruther plans to direct the film with a scheduled fall production in New York City.
