Kids cast for main roles in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The New Zealand Herald reports that the primary roles - the four children - have been cast for Walden Media's The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The four kids include newcomer Georgie Henley, a nine-year-old from London, as Lucy; Skandar Keynes, a 12-year-old who previously appeared in the made-for-TV movie Ferrari, as Edmund; 15-year old Anna Popplewell of Girl With a Pearl Earring as Susan; and 17-year-old William Moseley (Jefferson in Paris) as Peter.
Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge!) is also reported to be cast as the professor with whom the children are staying.
