Jennifer Beals reunites with Denzel

Jennifer Beals will play Gary Oldman's sexual prize and Mila Kunis' mother in The Book of Eli, an action thriller from Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment. The movie marks the first time Beals has worked with Denzel Washington since 1995's Devil in a Blue Dress. Principal photography begins next month in New Mexico.

Mila Kunis (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) joined Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman in The Book of Eli. In it, the actress will play Solara, a woman who helps Eli in his quest after originally being asked to betray him. Principal photography is expected to begin in February in New Mexico.

Gary Oldman to star with Denzel?

Gary Oldman is in talks to star opposite Denzel Washington in The Book of Eli. If signed, Oldman would play Carnegie, the despot of a small town without necessary services and, oddly, laws. His character wants to get the book Eli (Washington) is guarding. Filming is expected to begin in February in New Mexico. A Jan. 15, 2010 release date is eyed.

Denzel Washington to save world in Eli

Denzel Washington will star in The Book of Eli, a futuristic drama from directors Allen and Albert Hughes. The Warner Bros. project focuses on a future where America is a wasteland and a lone person (Washington) struggles to bring the knowledge that is key to society's redemption. The drama is based on a story by Gary Whitta, with an Anthony Peckham rewrite.
