Mann marries Carrey in black comedy
Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor have new company in the black comedy I Love You Phillip Morris. Judd Apatow's wife, Leslie Mann (Knocked Up), will play the spouse of Carrey's character, a father who falls in love with a cellmate named Phillip Morris (McGregor) after he is sent to prison. His love leads the father to make many escape attempts. The film comes from the writing-directing team of Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (Bad Santa). Production is expected to begin later this month.
