Fox Atomic loves Beth Cooper
Fox Atomic has acquired the rights to the Larry Doyle debut novel I Love You, Beth Cooper. Doyle has worked in magazines and television, and has writing credits on both The Simpsons and Beavis and Butt-Head. The movie looks at a nerdy high school valedictorian who decides to go ahead and declare his love for a popular cheerleader during his graduation speech. The project will be a potential directing vehicle for Chris Columbus.
