Adams has her Day
Amy Adams will star opposite Frances McDormand in the Focus Features period picture Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. The movie will be based on the book by Winifred Watson. Adams plays an American singer who becomes friends with a frumpy governess (McDormand) who is sent to her home by mistake. Bharat Nalluri is directing from a screenplay by Simon Beaufoy and David Magee.
