Wahlberg Happens for Shyamalan
Mark Wahlberg will star in M. Night Shyamalan's next film, The Happening for 20th Century Fox. He will take the role of a man who goes on the run with his family after a natural crisis threatens the whole world. Shyamalan also wrote the film, which will be set in Philadelphia.

Fox Happens Upon Shyamalan Thriller
20th Century Fox has greenlit writer-director M. Night Shyamalan's next movie, The Happening, and set it for a tentative June 2008 release date. The Philadelphia-based paranoid thriller will be Shyamalan's first R-rated feature. It will be about a family on the run from a natural crisis that represents a major threat to humanity. The director intends to cast a "big male star" for the lead role.
