Sutherland Finds Fool's Gold
Donald Sutherland will join the cast of Fool's Gold for Warner Bros. The adventure comedy stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson as a husband and wife team who have spent eight years searching for a lost treasure and are now the verge of bankruptcy and divorce. But when a clue to finding the loot surfaces, the couple are forced to reunite. Sutherland will take the role of a billionaire who invites the couple onto his boat to help in the hunt. Andy Tennant (Hitch; Sweet Home Alabama) is directing the movie from a script by Kenneth Lonergan. John Claflin and Daniel Zelman wrote the original screenplay.
