Cast Finds Atonement
Brenda Blethyn, Vanessa Redgrave and Romola Garai have joined the cast of Atonement, which already includes stars Keira Knightley and James McAvoy (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). The movie is about a 13-year-old girl (to be played by Saoirse Ronan) who damages the lives of many people after falsely accusing her sister's boyfriend of a crime. Christopher Hampton (The Quiet American) adapted the story from a novel by Ian McEwan. Joe Wright (Pride and Prejudice) is the director for distributer Focus Features.
