Sheen Returns to DC in Talk to Me
Martin Sheen has taken a role in Talk to Me for Focus Features. The film, based on a real-life events, follows the rise of controversial radio personality Ralph Waldo "Petey" Green (Don Cheadle) in Washington, D.C. during the 1960s. Sheen, no stranger to the nation's capitol after playing the president in the award-winning TV series The West Wing, will play the station owner who gave Petey Green his big break. Talk to Me will be directed by Kasi Lemmons (Eve's Bayou).

Cheadle Gets Job as DJ
Actors Don Cheadle and Chiwetel Ejiofor will star in Talk to Me, with Kasi Lemmons directing. Focus Features has obtained domestic rights to the biopic, about an ex-con named Ralph Waldo "Petey" Green (to be played by Cheadle) who becomes a prominent DJ in Washington D.C. during the civil rights era. Michael Genet originally wrote the screenplay, which has had revisions by Rick Famuyiwa and director Lemmons.
