Haysbert sees a Breach
Dennis Haysbert has joined the cast of Universal Pictures' Breach, where he'll star alongside Chris Cooper, Ryan Phillippe and Laura Linney. The film is based on real-life events and centers on an aspiring FBI agent (Phillippe) who is hand-picked to work for a renowned operative (Cooper). The new trainee learns that his mentor might just be the nation's biggest security risk. Haysbert will play an investigating agent.

Linney up for Breach
Laura Linney has signed for a role in Universal Pictures' Breach, where she'll star alongside Chris Cooper and Ryan Phillippe. The movie is a spy thriller that centers on the story of Robert Hanssen, who sold secrets to the Soviet Union when the Cold War was taking place, and then to Russia after it was over. Linney will play an FBI agent who is a superior to Phillippe's character.

Stars go into Breach
Chris Cooper and Ryan Phillippe will star in Breach for Universal Pictures. The spy thriller is based on the story of the FBI traitor Robert Hanssen, who sold U.S. secrets to the Cold War Soviet Union and then later to Russia. Billy Ray is directing from a screenplay he rewrote. The original had been penned by Adam Mazer and Bill Rotko.
