Paddy Gets an Ultimatum
Paddy Considine (In America) has joined the cast of Universal's The Bourne Ultimatum. The actor will play a London journalist tracking down a former CIA director in the third story about superagent Jason Bourne (Matt Damon).

Strathairn to Hunt Down Bourne
David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck.) will star alongside Matt Damon in The Bourne Ultimatum, the third-installment in the series about agent Jason Bourne. He will play the leader of a secret organization that is hunting Bourne. Paul Greengrass, who directed The Bourne Supremacy as well as United 93, will again take the reigns.

Allen gives Ultimatum
Joan Allen is in talks to reprise her role of Pamela Landy in The Bourne Ultimatum, the franchise that stars Matt Damon as Jason Bourne. The spy thriller is expected to shoot in 2006.

Jason Bourne gets a writer
Universal Pictures has hired Tony Gilroy - to the tune of $2 million - to write the screenplay for The Bourne Ultimatum, the third film in the highly popular Jason Bourne franchise. The movies have so far been very loosely based on Robert Ludlum's spy books and have been extraordinarily successful, earning $500 million worldwide and selling 15 million home video units. Matt Damon has expressed interest in reprising the role, though no official decisions will be made until the script is in.
