Fox Searchlight celebrates with Confetti
Fox Searchlight has picked up North American distribution rights to the low budget BBC Films comedy Confetti. The movie stars Martin Freeman (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) and Jessica Stevenson (Daisy Steiner on the British television comedy Spaced) in a story about three couples trying to win a magazine contest for who can have the most original wedding of the year. The movie was written and directed by Debbie Isitt, and is currently in post-production.
