Barker's stories set for horror films
Clive Barker has teamed up with producer Jorge Saralegui to bring a number of the short stories from the horror writer's short story collection The Books of Blood to the big screen. Barker is looking to create two per year, with work on The Midnight Meat Train set to start in the fall. Horror veteran Patrick Tatopoulous will direct from a screenplay by Jeff Buhler, while Lions Gate will distribute. Numerous other projects are on the horizon for Barker as well.
