Forman to create biopic on Amarillo Slim
Milos Forman and Nicolas Cage are joining forces to create a feature film about the gambler Amarillo Slim Preston. The screenplay will be handled by Stephen Rivele and Christopher Wilkinson, who worked on Ali and Nixon. They'll work from Preston's memoir, Amarillo Slim in a World of Fat People: The Memoirs of the Greatest Gambler Who Ever Lived. Forman will direct, while Cage would star.
