Witherspoon eyeing One for the Money
Reese Witherspoon's Type A Films production company is developing the Janet Evanovich mystery novel One for the Money as a feature film. Witherspoon is looking to possibly take the lead role. The story centers around detective Stephanie Plum, an down-on-her-luck native of Trenton, N.J. She convinces her cousin, a bail bondsman, to give her a chance to try out bounty hunting. Her first assignment? Track down a cop wanted for murder - a guy who just happens to have broken her heart some years before.
