ThinkFilm acquires Ozon's latest
ThinkFilm has picked up distribution rights to Francois Ozon's film 5x2, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival and also played at Toronto's fest. The film is told in backward order, and centers on the life of a couple portrayed by Stephane Freiss and Valerie Bruni-Tedeschi. It begins with their divorce, goes back to the birth of their first child, then on to their marriage and initial meeting. The studio is considering putting the film in theaters for spring.
