Keener stars with Carell in Virgin
Catherine Keener is set to star alongside Steve Carell in the Universal Pictures comedy The 40 Year-Old Virgin. Judd Apatow will make his directorial debut on the film, which he co-wrote with Carell. It's been described as a "middle-age coming-of-age comedy" and will feature Keener as Carell's love interest.

Apatow to make directorial debut
BOP fave Judd Apatow will make his directorial debut on The 40 Year-Old Virgin, to be financed and distributed by Universal Pictures. Apatow co-wrote the screenplay with Steve Carell (Anchorman), who will star. The pair came up with the idea of a middle-age coming-of-age story while both were working on Anchorman (Apatow was a producer).
