Here! is Eternal
Here! Films, the independent production/distribution arm of Regent Entertainment, has picked up the rights to Horizon Entertainment's Eternal, which hit theaters in Quebec last week.
The film will be released in early 2005 in the U.S. Written and directed by Wilhelm Liebenberg and Federico Sanchez, the film is based on the infamous story of the 16th century Hungarian countess Erzsebet Bathory, who was believed to have seduced and murdered more than 650 women in order to bathe in their blood to achieve eternal life.
The movie will take circumstances to modern day, when the wife of a vice cop mysteriously disappears. The trail leads to one Elizabeth Kane, who may or may not be the immortal countess.
