First Look has Freeze Frame
First Look Intl. has picked up the rights to director John Simpson's futuristic thriller Freeze Frame, which premiered at the 2004 Tribeca Film Fest and won the Jury Prize at the 2004 Taormina Film Fest. The movie stars Lee Evans, Rachael Stirling and Colin Salmon and centers on a man who becomes extremely paranoid after escaping a murder conviction. He straps cameras all over his body so that he can record every single moment of his day, just in case the cops might attempt to accuse him of murder a second time. The indie distributor is planning to release the film in early 2005.
