Thurman confirmed for Prime

As was reported in late August, Uma Thurman will indeed take over for Sandra Bullock in the Universal Pictures film Prime, which began shooting on Wednesday. Also on board for the cast is Annie Parisse (National Treasure). Written and directed by Ben Younger, Prime centers around a woman (Thurman) who falls in love with the son of her therapist (Meryl Streep).

Thurman takes over for Bullock

Uma Thurman has emerged as the likely contender to replace Sandra Bullock in writer/director Ben Younger's Prime. The film is set to begin filming September 7th. Thurman would play a woman in her 30s who falls for the son of her therapist. Bryan Greenberg and Meryl Streep also star. Bullock dropped off the project on August 26th, saying that she would not do the film unless script issues were resolved to her liking. Prime will be distributed by Focus Features.
