Weisz in The Fountain
Rachel Weisz has signed on to co-star with Hugh Jackman in the Darren Aronofsky sci-fi film The Fountain. Though the story is mostly shrouded in secrecy, details revealed so far say that it follows a man's journey in the present as well as 500 years into the past and future. Aronofsky's screenplay, co-written with Ari Handel, touches on thems of love, death and immortality. The film was originally slated to star Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett.
