Cast added for Big Momma 2
Zachary Levi and Emily Procter have been cast to star alongside Martin Lawrence in the sequel to Big Momma's House. Levi will play a fellow FBI agent who is awkward and has a crush on a fellow co-worker, while Procter will portray the disgruntled wife of a workaholic under investigation for murder.

Whitesell aboard Momma 2
20th Century Fox and Regency Enterprises have signed John Whitesell to direct the sequel to Big Momma’s House, which starred Martin Lawrence in a fat suit. Don Rhymer, who co-wrote the original film, is writing the screenplay, and Lawrence is indeed onboard for the role he originated. The first film was a box office surprise, grossing $117 million in North America by the time it was all said and done.
