Uma to play Ulla
Uma Thurman is in talks to play the role of Ulla in The Producers, a part which Nicole Kidman recently had to leave. She would play the sultry secretary in the film, which currently has Nathan Land and Matthew Broderick set to reprise the roles they made famous on Broadway.

Kidman out of Producers
Nicole Kidman is dropping out of Mel Brooks theatrical adaptation of the Broadway adaptation of the 1968 Mel Brooks movie The Producers (yes, you read that right). She would have played the loopy Swedish secretary Ulla. The reason she departed the project is that she wouldn't have time to learn the intricate song and dance routines between the current shooting of Bewitched and her next project,
Eucalyptus. The departure was amicable.
