Uwe Boll gets more for BloodRayne
After signing T3 star Kristanna Loken as his lead, Uwe Boll has also landed Ben Kingsley, Michelle Rodriguez and Matt Davis to star in BloodRayne, the director's $25 million adaptation of the Majesco videogame about a half human/half vampire who hunts vampires herself. Although the game is set in 1930s Germany with the heroine fighting Nazi vampires, Boll has chosen to transport the movie to 18th century Transylvania.
Kingsley will play the lead vampire, Kagan, and Rodriguez and Davis (Legally Blonde) will play additional vampire hunters. Boll has said that the movie will be less like the videogame and more in line with movies such as Brotherhood of the Wolf.
