First Look Falls For the Stooges
Henry Winterstern's First Look Studios has obtained the movie rights to The Three Stooges. The project has been in development limbo for years, with Warner Bros. going so far as to set up Peter and Bobby Farrelly to write a script and direct. The option laspsed, however, and fell into the lap of First Look, which most recently released A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. The studio aims to keep the flavor and stay true to the original comedy team of Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Jerome "Curly" Howard.
