2004 BOP Reader Awards Results:
Best Book

Stewart 1, Carlson 0.

To Tucker Carlson's chagrin, Jon Stewart and Co.'s America: The Book received more than double the score of the second place finisher in taking the reader award for best book. Stephen King released two more books in his Dark Tower series in 2004, and readers voted them collectively second. Bill Clinton's My Life was the highest placing, ahem, nonfiction offering, while those crazy folks at Guinness were recognized for their latest book of world records, finishing 11th. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, BOP readers are a discerning, well rounded bunch who just need to know the record for the fewest days required to consume a bicycle. Just out of the running but recommended is Chuck Klosterman's Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs.
