Hollywood Gangs Productions has greenlit Conquistador, a historical drama about the life of Spanish explorer Herman Cortes. The $40 million production will be the largest ever Spanish-language production. With the recent success of historical epics such as Alexander, King Arthur and Kingdom of Heaven, we can certainly understand why another one is going into production. Errr, nevermind. Did him, did him, did the sound guy, did the script girl, did the stunt horse...

GHASP! The stunt horse?!! Fans of Shaun of the Dead, a terribly underappreciated film, are excited to hear that Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, the writers of the zombie comedy, have had their next project greenlit by indie studio Working Title Films. The film will feature Pegg and Nick Frost as two very dissimilar cops working in a backwater town. Rumours that the production is currently scouting Alabama for shooting locations have been denied.
Ghost Rider, the soon-to-be box office bomb starring Nicolas Cage, has been pushed back to a release date of February 16th, 2007. Sony, the studio behind the film, cited a need to avoid a logjam of releases in 2006, a year in which the studio tentatively has 26 films set for release. Instead, Ghost Rider, based on the Marvel comic that peaked in popularity in the late 80’s, will precede the other big super-hero release by Sony that year, Spider-Man 3.Fans of the website niccageslatestdorkyhairstyle.com have already bombarded the internet with their cries of outrage. Bruce Willis fans know this pain
