presented in a pleasing quiz form.

The Hollywood Film Festival honored Mel Gibson last night as Producer of the Year for his controversial-yet-hugely profitable film The Passion of the Christ. The film, which holds the record for the highest-grossing limited release in history, has made more than $640 million in worldwide box office receipts to date, and added several million after being released on DVD earlier this year. The awards committee were stunned, however, when Gibson declined to give his acceptance speech in Latin and Aramaic. Movie star: High pay, little work. Producer: High pay, even less work, more awards.

Paris Hilton orrrr Shawn Wayans in drag?...hmmm Pushing the boundaries of silliness is the sole reason why the Wayans brothers still make movies, and they will continue that trend with their next film The Little Man, from Revolution Studios. Keenan will direct Shawn and Marlon again, most recently collaborating on White Chicks, which somehow managed to gross almost $70 million at the box office. Shawn will play a man so desperate for a child that he mistakes an extremely short, baby-faced fugitive criminal for a child. Marlon will play the criminal in question. The audience will play the victims.
Steve Carell, the man playing Maxwell Smart in the upcoming Get Smart film, has co-written and will star in 40-Year-Old Virgin, a film to be directed by Judd Apatow. Carell will play a straight-laced, conservative, shy-around-women man who is still a virgin. When three of his co-workers find out about the status of his sex life, they conspire to get him some action. The man plays along and moves from one disastrous situation to the next until he meets a mother of three who changes everything for him. The film’s original title, Lord of the MILF, was rejected by the studio. Nope, no 40-year old virgins around here. No sireee
