New Line has signed Mena Suvari to star in Tony Scott's Domino opposite Keira Knightley. Filming on the project starts Monday in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Domino tells the real-life story of Domino Harvey, daughter of actor Laurence Harvey, who starred in the original version of The Manchurian Candidate. She ditched a career as a Ford model to become a bounty hunter. Suvari will play a producer's assistant in the film. Nothing makes a convict run faster than Keira Knightley and Mena Suvari chasing them. You should have seen the picture we almost used for this.

That's right, I said it. Bland Director Mike Nichols and Julia Roberts are in talks to develop a romantic comedy called Seven-Year Switch for Columbia Pictures. Roberts would play a woman coming up on the seventh year of a relationship. The proverbial seven-year itch takes a rather extreme turn as the woman gets to see what might have been if she had made different choices in her life. The film is not a remake of the 1955 Marilyn Monroe film of a similar title. Next up for Roberts is Some Like it Warm and Gentlemen Prefer Blands.
Mel Brooks has revealed to Playbill magazine that he is currently working on a script for a sequel to his 1987 hit Spaceballs, a parody of the Star Wars franchise. Brooks is aiming to have the film ready for release around the same time that the latest Star Wars film, Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, will be released. Brooks would not confirm if Mark Hammill would be cast as the lead actor on the project. Time for....Ludicrous Speed
