Dark clouds are looming indeed For those who watched CSI last night, you might have noticed a commercial for Oliver Stone’s Alexander. The ad, which sucked mightily, announced the release date of the film as November 24th, a recent change from the original November 5th release date. Alexander will now compete with Christmas with the Kranks instead of competing with Pixar’s The Incredibles. The ad follows a Wednesday announcement by WB that the studio had moved the film to better position it for Oscar consideration. When we heard that, we were expecting the film to move to a year where no other movies will be released.
