The Internet site CinemaNow will be able to offer films from Sony Pictures for download on personal computers on the same day that the pictures become available for video-on-demand cable outlets, Video Store magazine reported on Thursday. The movies, which can be viewed at any time during a 24-hour period, will be priced at $3.99 for first-run films. Sony is the studio behind such films as Spider-Man and Men in Black. Sony is calling the project “Project: One More Opportunity For Hackers to Steal Movies”. Okay, okay! It's a pretty good firewall! I get it!!!

Com'on, George. We know who's really under that helmet Star Wars creator George Lucas has complained that Hollywood continues to operate under the "Thalberg Syndrome," a reference to Irving Thalberg, the all-powerful studio executive who controlled virtually every movie made at MGM in the 1930s. In an interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper, Lucas remarked that the tendency of middle managers to interpose themselves into productions has resulted in the film industry "making hugely inefficient movies for great amounts of money and they aren't creatively very interesting. Any studio you go to, you're going to find 30 executives working on your picture." Of course, this doesn’t explain why the last two Star Wars films have sucked big time.
Kangaroo Jack and Agent Cody Banks 2 star Anthony Anderson is now facing a sexual assault lawsuit only months after being charged with rape. The actor was still reeling from the cancellation of his sitcom All About the Andersons in July when an extra on the set of his movie Hustle & Flow hit him, and his bodyguard, with rape charges. Now, Anderson and Warner Bros Television bosses have been named in a $900,000 suit by a woman who claims Anderson made suggestive comments, grabbed her genitalia and sexually assaulted her in his dressing room on the All About the Andersons set. The even worse news for Anderson is that he can't afford Kobe's lawyers. Man, those Agent Cody Banks 3 auditions are gonna be TOUGH

"Yeah, it's kind of itchy...and it rides up in the crotch a little bit."
